Servings: 20 bliss balls
Course: Snack

Ingredients

  • cups medjool dates pitted and soaked
  • ½ cup almonds unsalted
  • ½ cup cashews unsalted
  • ½ cup walnuts unsalted
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup flaxseeds ground
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil unrefined and melted

Equipment

  • food processor or blender

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until the mixture becomes well combined and slightly sticky.
  2. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls using your hands. Depending on the size you make them, this recipe will yield approximately 20-24 bliss balls.
  3. Place the bliss balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Use raw, unsalted nuts for best flavour and nutrition.
  • If Medjool dates are firm, soak them in hot water for 5–10 minutes before using.
  • A food processor works best for texture and ease. A blender can be used but may be harder to scrape out.
  • Adjust consistency with a little extra coconut oil or water if needed.
  • You can roll the bliss balls in desiccated coconut or extra cacao powder for extra flavour and texture if desired.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
